Skills and Experience
Design is constantly changing, so I am happy to keep learning as much as possible to create user-friendly designs.
From designing the sites to maintenance, I have knowledge in working with WordPress and customizing it to the client's needs. I understand the importance of branding and the continuous need to test and improve the overall functionality and features of the site.
The site's branding is crucial to establish a solid foundation for the company. I know how to work with brand colours and fonts to make the design look cohesive and unified.
I understand the importance of having a well-designed layout and visual design. I have experience analyzing usability issues and making strategic design changes to improve the overall user experience.
I have experience using a wide range of Adobe Products. From using Photoshop and Lightroom to edit photos to creating wireframes and high-fidelity mockups in Adobe XD. I can create illustrations in Illustrator and edit short videos for clients in Adobe Premiere.
I can work with large web application styling sheets by using CSS variables and reusable code to maintain the theming of the app. I am capable of creating a simple site using HTML and CSS.
Nothing is as important as how a user will use the website or app. I am knowledgeable in creating user-friendly interfaces with user experience in mind. Able to conduct A/B testing before development.
The Bookish Architects
Two book-loving friends, creating a little bit of bookish magic.
When the pandemic of 2020 greeted us, and we were encouraged to stay at home, my friend and I took it as an opportunity to work on a small side project. We opened an Etsy store called The Bookish Architects, where we sell bookmarks, scrabble tile magnets and custom character Funko pops.
With this project, I dabbled in:
Brand creation
Social media marketing
Etsy SEO
Product design
Basic business management
The Bookish Architects made me think outside my comfort zone. From creating our logo to figuring out how to design Funko boxes for our custom Funko pops, it was a lot of fun and a lot of work for my personal development. I'm happy with what we were able to achieve.
Books + Dog = My Free Time
When I shut down my computer for the day, I can be found reading or spending time with Marvin - the Boston Terrier.
I love myself a good book, and I like reviewing them as well. So my hobby of reading led me to create a casual social media account dedicated to books where I have met other book lovers around the world, and we have endless discussions on our latest reads. And the best reading companion would have to be my dog.
